Step 1 -Choosing a Hosting Account for Blogging

Today I am going to show you how to setup your HOSTING account to be able to self host your own blog.
This means you’re going to be in control of your website.

STEP 1 – Sign up for your hosting account by clicking here

Selecting a good host from the beginning is critically important -

a) because you don’t want your website having any ‘DOWN TIME’ – ESPECIALLY if you’re using your blog to make money! Down time = loss of income

b) It needs to be easy to use – as this one above with the ‘Cpanel’ and enable you to grow and expand your business!

    Hi Kat,

    Great clear video. I have a question which is not related to blogs. What sfotware you are using to film your training video. Is it an Apple application?

    its called screenflow – it’s for mac. Most people use Camtasia for windows – haven’t ever used that one :)

    Hi, thanks. Thought it might be for Mac. Thinking about going to Mac next time I invest in new technology but a bit hesitant as I just understand Windows pretty well. Thanks for the name.
